Low-pressure casting uses a gas at low pressure, usually between 3 and 15 psig (20 to 100 kPag) to push the molten metal into the mold cavity.The low pressure casting is one of permanent mold process too. The mold is made from iron, steel,reign sand or shell. The mold is installed on a sealed furnace containing molten metal.

Here is the production process of low pressure casting: dry compressed air is piped in the seal of the crucible (or sealed cans),under the action of gas pressure, the liquid metal along the lift tube & through gate smoothly into the cavity and remain the gas pressure on the surface of the liquid in the crucible, until the casting solidification completely.Then remove the gas pressure,make un-solidified metal liquid flow in the tube crucible, then open the mould,and carry-out casting by cylinder.
