Lost wax casting is one kind of casting method for manufacturing metal products, which refers to precision casting.Modern precision casting is called investment precision casting. Lost-wax precision casting is generally used for small castings.

Lost wax casting process is as follows:Press liquid paraffin wax into briquetting→ take out wax pattern→ fit gate→ paint and make shell→ melt wax pattern→ bake mold shell→pour molten metal→take out castings →clean pouting gate and burr → test and put it in storage.

Investment precision castings can be made of carbon steel, alloy steel, heat-resisting alloy steel, stainless stainless steel, permanent magnet alloy, bearing alloy, copper alloy, aluminum alloy, titanium alloy, nodular cast iron and so on.
